Say hello to your inner child

Our inner child is still in you no matter how mature we are acting. We are all kids deep inside. We have the same basic needs but individual desires.
We are all the same but yet so different...

Why should we connect to our inner child?
Let´s just think abt kids. They aren't thinking much abt what they´re doing right? This can have a completely healing affect on adults who tend to overthink a lot (guilty for that).
Kids don't think abt if they're enough. They just are. Children say what they mean there's no lying (till a certain age). Kids are authentic bcs there's no point in acting like someone else.
They don't think abt their consequences so they just act
instinctively.
Of course we've learned a lot and wee do things bcs of many reasons but when it comes to a healthy living we kinda need to listen to our inner child. Ppl tend to cut things off bcs they once made a negative experience with it but they don't think abt giving it a 2 chance. So they are just anxious. Kids would just do it again naively.
Well sure there's intelligence in experience but behaving referring to what our inner child say sometimes can be very beneficial.

So how can we actually do that without acting childish?
I think the biggest mistake most of the ppl do, and I catch myself by doing that, is acting mature.
In the moment when we act and don´t stand up for our true self we're not only whoring our soul we also destroy the chance to grow.
Why? We don't ask the questions we wanna asks bcs society maybe tells us you should know this or that. You should act like this or that but instead of really learning why and going our own way we tend to listen to that opinions.
As a kid we didn´t really listen to that we just learned by doing.
We often act like we THINK it's right but we stop to learn. When you stop learning and live your life like you think it's the best you´re not really living. You're a victim of your mind and ppl opinions.
In the moment when you actually learn sth you have a completely different stability than just acting like you think it's right.
You also tend to do more mistakes bcs you're not sure abt it you just think instead of learning.
When it comes to connecting to our child it's important to not forget abt the things we've learned but to do the positive things kids would that let us grow and serve us.
Listening to yourself:
What would your 6 years old you say abt that? Think abt what you would to when you're a child. We would be so much more creative, kind and loving. Not so braced and serious.
Drawing, playing an instrument, taking pictures, playing games with friends on a game night, playing Mario Kart on your frkn DS isn't childish. Ppl who say that are just too afraid to do things like tat bcs they need the approval from others and they think ppl don't respect them anymore.
But everything that gives you happiness and doesn't hurt anyone is brilliant and also mature if you think abt it in that way.
If anyone say sth against that it's their personal problem bcs they can't deal with it but it's still your life.

I know now I'll still watch my disney shit as an adult I still watch Hannah Montana (I'm 21 now) bcs I fkn love it. I'm cuddling with a cute teddy bear at night bcs it's fkn calming and gives me good, loving and calm vibes.
Idc if ppl say I should watch some shit that I'm not interested in. I still read, watch educational documentaries but I also know I need to connect to my inner child again to be productive, creative, happy and to spread more love.
Spreading love and good energy is one of the values in my life I live after.
So if things like that give you happiness.. DO IT! Of course it's not appropriate to talk abt Mario Kart in your office job but you decide what you do with your life and what ppl you wanna let in.
If ppl don't understand what benefits your inner child can have it's their personal obstacle but if you have already figured out how to listen to your child you've done amazing work <3
Just watching old videos and pictures can help you to connect again. Doing things you did as a child or simply trying new stuff, a new style, a new instrument, extraordinary poses and picture ideas.
Sth creative that makes you feel fulfilled and happy. You'll soon realize that's a complete different feeling you get then after finishing some essay.
As I say like always it's abt balance but I feel like society forgot how to connect to the inner child sooooo...
Sharing my thoughts with it and hoping that ppl understand why this can actually help us just makes me feel good.
Don´t hesitate do text me your things you loved to do as a child. What you can do to connect to it again so we can inspire and motivate each other :)
byeeeee
